It feels like forever since Girls Aloud last bought out an album, but we all know it’s because of their temporary split. Most of the girls are pursuing solo careers and the most eventful of the five is our own Cheryl Cole. Nadine Coyle and Cheryl Cole are working on solo careers, Nicola Roberts has started a campaign against fake tanning and Sarah Harding has been working on her acting career whilst staring in St Trinians 2.
The one Girls Aloud girl who has not been so confident about her solo project is Kimberley Walsh. From an outsiders view she appears to be the one closest to our Cheryl and fans refer to the pair of them as “Chim”. She has not really been seen or heard from recently other than a few month ago when she presented BBC Switch Live.
Latest news is that Kimberley will be presenting the BAFTA Awards ‘red carpet’ on February 22nd, she will be following in the footsteps of Ferne Cotton who presented last years awards. Kimberley says “I’m really excited to be presenting from the red carpet at this year’s Orange British Academy Film Awards.” she continues, “The girls and I have walked many red carpets but this will be by far the most nerve racking! I’ll be bringing you interviews and gossip from the stars as well as looking behind the scenes at the event.”
This also follows on from when we saw Kimberley doing a little bit of present on this years X-factor when she presented live from Newcastle helping to support Joe McElderry and also her best friend Cheryl. Kimberley announced her latest news at Londons Dorchester Hotel this morning.
So is Kimberley planing on being a TV presenter when her Girls Aloud days are over?
