Lloyd Daniels Escapes Eviction as Rachel Adedeji Gets the X Factor Boot

Rachel Adedeji Leaves The X FactorViewers watching The X Factor Live Results Show Week 4 this evening would have seen Lloyd Daniels escape by the skin of his teeth, as he and Rachel were in the bottom two.

This week was Rock Week on The X Factor, and as ever, Jedward divided opinion as they made Freddie Mercury turn in his grave after performing a Queen song, We Will Rock You! Lucie Jones looked like a rock version of Kristen Stewart as she took on Guns n Roses hit, Sweet Child of Mine.

Danyl Johnson suffered a massive loss of confidence, and delivered a crap performance, but the public chose to spare the guy…this week! Bon Jovi and JLS were tonight’s guests on the show, both groups performing their latest single.

But back to business; Dermot revealed the names of the people safe until next week, which brought surprisingly bad news for Rachel Adedeji, who has now appeared in the bottom two three times. Lloyd Daniels was also voted into the bottom two, as we predicted earlier today.

Rachel Adedeji came out fighting for the third time, but Lloyd Daniels seemed to have a defeated attitude all the way through his sing-off performance. His voice cracked quite a few times during the song, and he missed a few words. Rachel on the other hand gave a note-perfect performance, which should have secured her place in the contest for another week.

If it was down to the judges vote, Lloyd Daniels would have almost certainly been gone this evening, but Simon Cowell took the easy route out, and let the public make the final decision by taking the result to deadlock.

Dermot opened the envelope containing the public vote, and announced that Rachel Adedeji would be leaving the competition, much to the relief of Cheryl Cole and Lloyd Daniels.

What do you think people? Did Rachel deserve the boot, or should Lloyd Daniels have gone? Leave us a comment below…

Laura white from last year’s X factor, who had a fabulous voice and got voted out early like Rachel, has tweeted Rachel offering her support (http://twitter.com/laurawhitesings) I think this is fab as it goes to show that there is life after the X Factor as Laura's debut single is released today!

I used to love this competition, I am from czech. I can understand that public vote for John & Edward, even if they are lame. But I cannot understand Simon Cowell sending home Rachel, when she was singing so much better against Loyd?! For what are those bulshits like judges use to say: "it a singing competition". I am sad for Rachel. This was K.O.

Loyd, should have gone home. Sang poorly on saturday and sunday. Simon bottled it. One week he says he votes based on the performance on the Sunday only, the next he says the weaker singer deserves another chance. Loyd sang badly he is out of his depth and needs to go home.

With regards to the comments about the contest being racist what a load of tosh. Look who has won over recent years, comments like that are nonsense.

I dont know why the public didnt take a liking to rachel. She is an amazing singer. Lloyd has a nice tone to his voice but is too weak and never leaves a lasting impression on me.

I cheered cuz Lloyd was 1 of my 3 fave acts (3rd fave) on last year's X Factor and I wanted him 2 stay. U can't judge him, he wasn't very well that week. Rachel had been in the bottom 2 THREE times. That's 2 many! I would give up if I was in the bottom 2 THREE times. Cheryl is of course better than Dannii, Simon and Louis. I have her album 3 words. It is so, so, so, so good.
