Last weekend we saw young Lloyd Daniels eliminated from The X Factor after he failed to secure enough public votes to keep him in the show. Today, Lloyd has spoken out to praise his mentor, Cheryl Cole, who helped and nurtured him each week on the popular ITV talent show.
Cheryl Cole has been criticised over the last few weeks over spending too much time with Joe McElderry, who had much more of a chance of winning the show than Lloyd did, but Lloyd refuted those criticisms, insisting Cheryl showed fairness between him and Joe.
Lloyd finally crashed out of The X Factor on Sunday on the weekend where the judges vote could no longer save him. So could he have been saved with some more TLC from Cheryl?
The answer to that is a resounding NO from Lloyd, as both he and Joe McElderry apparently received fair and equal treatment.
“I’ve been asked a couple of times about this now, but literally she was fair on both sides. We’d spent a lot of time in her dressing room just talking and going over songs. She worked really really hard with me. And Joe is an amazing guy, he’s got such an awesome voice.” fa
He then went on to praise his fellow singer some more: “Joe is vocally amazing, he’s pitch perfect all the time and I think he deserves to win to be honest. I want Team Cheryl to do well as well so I hope he does win!“
Lloyd has also revealed that Simon Cowell said “he was really proud to have someone like me on the show and that I’d done really well for myself, and I’ve got to big myself up a bit more.“

No i love Cheryl and i would say she is fair and she spent the same amout of time with Lloyd as she did with Joe and i totally agree with Lloyd, Joe is amazing! i want him to win.
I was so sad to see Lloyd go Staturday i thought he would stay for another week atleast!

I Also agree with Nicole and lloyd , i dont think she favored joe, i think she treated them both equally, she bought all her boys watches as a pressie for getting trough to the live show so they all get treated equally it just may not look like it because people favor joe more? anyone agrere?

I Think cheryl treated them the samee …. But joe did have a better voice then lloyd…But lloyd was sexy,stunning beautifull he did well for is agee i think cheryl did well keeping im in for that long well done lloyd..Joe i voted u all the way wen u hit them hifgh notes i got tingless…Well done to both of u and wellllllll doneeeeeeeeeeee cheryll you made some 1 dream come trueee luv u huniii.xxx
