X Factor reject Lloyd Daniels will miss out on money and gigs because he is under age. The 16-year-old Welsh singer wont be permitted to perform at some adult-only venue’s, according to reports.
He will be aloud to perform at some venues, only making a brief appearance, but due to the age issue, he could loose out on lucrative fees of up to £5,000 per performance.
Lloyd Daniels spoke about the issue to The Sun, saying: “I can do gigs in some places – but I just have to go on stage and then come out again. I can’t wait to get out there and start gigging.“
A lot of other X Factor contestants which have already been eliminated from the show have so far gone on to make money appearing at Iconic London club, G-A-Y. But Lloyd will have to wait before he is aloud to perform at the venue and is to meet his management to finalise details of his first shows following his exit from The X Factor this weekend.
He said: “I just want to get out there gigging now. I can’t wait until The X Factor Tour next year.” Lloyd has bucked the trend by not backing his fellow ‘boys category’ contestant Joe McElderry to win The X Factor, and is instead backing Dagenham lass Stacey Soloman to win.
Lloyd said: “I love her voice. I can’t wait to buy her album.” So is it fair that Lloyd is to loose out on thousands in lucractive fees? Leave your thoughts below…
