X Factor winner Alexandra Burke has given the thumbs up for Cheryl Cole’s debut single, Fight For This Love, which was released earlier this week.
Cheryl Cole debuted her song live on Radio One on Monday, and initially (on Twitter), got a lot of criticism, but as the week has progressed, more and more people are coming forward to say they are loving the song.
Alexandra, who won under Cheryl Cole’s tuition on last years The X Factor, said: “I really, really like it. I think it will do well. I think the song’s more a grower.” (Which i agree with.)
Cheryl’s fellow judge, Dannii Minogue has also gave credit to Cheryl’s song by saying on her blog: “Congratulations to Cheryl on a seriously sexy pop tune! I cant wait to see the video.”
We reported earlier this week how Cheryl Cole is set to battle both Alexandra Burke, and possibly Dannii Minogue in the pop charts later this year when her album is released.
Alexandra Burke has her debut album being released the same week Cheryl’s is released, and Dannii Minogue is said to be trying to relaunch her solo career, which would also put her release in the same time-frame.
