Girls Aloud member Cheryl Cole has reportedly shelled out close to £12,000 to host a Christmas dinner and she invited some of the members from her girl group Girls Aloud to celebrate with her. According to reports, this year Cheryl is all about watching her weight; she has opt for a healthy menu with lots of olive oil to maintain her trim figure. “The X Factor” producer Simon Cowell has reportedly expressed regrets over firing Cheryl Cole as a judge on the US version of the show. According to reports the talent competition has suffered low ratings and Simon reportedly feels that it may be because he let Cheryl go after making what is described as a hasty decision. One report has said that both Cheryl and Simon have made up after she was fired from the show. The report added that Cheryl and Simon are “chatting and joking again” and they also hope to meet each other soon.
Cheryl’s replacement is former Pussycat Dolls singer Nicole Scherzinger and it is being reported that she is coming under fire by critics and viewers alike.
Singer Cheryl Cole reportedly still has her eyes set on finding the man of her dreams. According to reports the singer has just started to mingle more in hopes that she would find her leading man. A few months ago, Cheryl was reportedly trying to get back with her ex-husband Ashley Cole however it didn’t work out to well between the two. Cheryl has reportedly announced that she was looking for that lucky man and she is apparently trying to get help from her manager Will.I.AM. The final 61 acts who made it to the next level of competition received some words of encouragement and inspiration from the judges.
The hopefuls include Kitty Brucknell, James Michael, Craig Colton, Goldie Cheung and Joe Cox. They survived the cull, and were able to escape elimination.
They were lucky enough to be given the chance to perform in Wembley Arena where about 5,000 people will be their audience. This is before the judges would choose their final contestants whom they would coach.
Louis Walsh reminded the contestants that what they are going to embark on is a make or break performance and their fate in the competition rested on that very moment. As if their nerves weren’t enough, Louis Walsh surely increased the anxiety and the feeling of pressure among the contestants.

Although Cheryl Cole may not be on the US version of “X Factor” as a judge anymore, there is one current judge who still values Cheryl’s friendship and it is Paula Abdul. It is reported that Paula sent Cheryl a giant bouquet of flowers to which Cheryl immediately tweeted to her followers. She captioned the picture “Oh wow… I just received the most beautiful flowers from @Paul Abdul.” Cheryl also added “Than you sooo much for my gorgeous flowers and kind words. So thoughtful!”
Paula reportedly wrote back how thrilled she was that Cheryl had liked the flowers and even told her that she would love to say “your welcome” in person.
