Looks like this year is going to go very well with Cheryl because she has started the year with two Brit Award nominations one being Female Solo Artist and another for Best British Singer. If Cheryl wins any one of this, it’s going to be a huge for her for rest of the year. This year the prestigious Brit award is going to be hosted by James Corden and will take place at London’s O2 arena on February 15 this year. Other contestants are katy Perry, Kylie Minogue, Alicia Keyes, Rihanna and Robyn all whom are also nominated for International Female Solo Artist.
Cheryl Cole has been saying that she wants to duet with pop singer Rihanna and it seems like she would be getting her wish. It is being reported that Cheryl’s new CD which is scheduled for a March release, will feature a duet with Rihanna. It is reported that Rihanna is planning to return to London in a month’s time for an award show and she hopes to meet with Cheryl so that they can finalize plans for the new track. So far it is being reported that Cheryl’s album will include pop, soul, dance and hip hop.

It is being reported that Cheryl plans to spend New Year’s Eve with singer Taio Cruz of “Explode” fame. Reports indicate that Cheryl has been very close to Taio since he and his girlfriend broke up earlier this year. Cheryl plans to bring in the new year with Taio in Los Angeles, a report said.
A source close to Cheryl told reporters “Taio is starting to sort out his New Year’s Eve and if he’s performing, like he did last year, he wants to have fun with Cheryl. Now it is being reported that the singer is adding more shoes to her collection; this time they are sheepskin slippers. The line of slippers is called Cosie Toes and according to reports it retails for £70.90. Already Cosie Toes shoes are gaining great reviews from critics; the slippers are handmade and displays a blow that is spotted black and white.
