Cheryl Cole better be watching her back, as her Girls Aloud bandmate Sarah Harding could soon be getting her own TV chat show. The sexy blonde singer is currently touting herself to TV companies in a bid to match Cheryl Cole’s success on The X Factor.
Sarah Harding, 27 who is currently on the Out of Control Tour with the band is keen to get into TV work to give her a career when the band make a ‘temporary split’ when the current tour ends.
An insider has been quoted as saying: “Sarah knows Girls Aloud can’t go on forever so she thinks working in telly is the way forward. Ideally she’d like to do some sort of music and chat show. She’s also keen on acting.”
Sarah has already branched out from Girls Aloud, when she starred in a credit crunch drama freefall, which is due to hit our screens on BBC1 next month. And if recent rumours are correct, she is reportedly up for a role in the new St Trinian’s movie.
X Factor judge Cheryl Cole has now become a Top TV Star after landing a £2.1 million ‘golden handcuffs’ deal to remain exclusively with ITV.
