Former Spice Girl Mel B has today hinted that she maybe a fixture on this years judging panel when The X Factor returns to our screens this summer.
The singer admitted to a meeting with Simon Cowell, but said she couldn’t discuss rumours that she’s to join the shows judging panel. Commenting on the rumours, she said: “That’s funny! Who knows what’s going to happen? We’ll see. That’s something I can’t talk about.“
This latest rumour comes just weeks after it was revealed that Louis Walsh could be axed this year, with the show getting guest judges on a weekly basis. Stories thus far claim that Robbie Williams, Eminem and Victoria Beckham could all be lined up for a guest slot.
Simon Cowell said recently that he wanted to expand the shows judging panel, which currently features himself, Dannii Minogue, Cheryl Cole and Louis Walsh. Melanie C also added: “I think the shows great. I’ve seen Simon a few times. I think he’s an amazing businessman. And I’ve met Cheryl Cole a few times. She’s a really lovely lady.“
So basically ass licking then Mel?? It’s also worth noting that when Sharon Osbourne left The X Factor in 2007, Mel B was originally lined up to replace her, but at the last minute, it was decided better for the show that Cheryl Cole be the replacement.
So what do you think about Mel B either full-time or as a guest on The X Factor? And was Cheryl the right person to replace Sharon, or would Mel B have done a better job? Comments below please…

cheryl was DEFFO the best choice and i don't think they should change the guest judge on a weekly basis coz then it will be just like american idol and will be unfair on the contestants to have different opinions depending on which judge you get xx

I agreee, Cheryl and Dannii need to be the only girls!
The show is at its best with just the four of them x
