Cheryl Cole has maintained a dignified silence over the recent allegations that Ashley Cole has cheated on her again, and played text-sex with a number of women.
But as they say in show business, ‘The Show Must Go On’, and that was true for Cheryl Cole last night, as she took to the stage during a centerpiece Brits 2010 Performance. As Cheryl burst onto the stage with a jumping leap from an underground-stage lift, Cheryl received a full standing ovation from the audience, the only celebrity to get an ovation from the audience throughout the entire evening.
A visibly angry Cheryl made her feelings for Ashley quite clear, as she waved her hands around on stage, minus her £162,000 wedding ring. While this may tell you that Cheryl is a little pissed off with Ashley right now, the more likely explanation is that she doesn’t want to wear such an expensive ring during an energetic dance routine.
In the middle of the Cheryl Cole – Fight For This Love Brits Performance, the nineties dance anthem ‘Show Me Love’ was mixed with her track, giving her a brief interlude to change her costume. After her routine, host Peter Kay made a sarcastic comment, ‘Never has a truer word been spoken,’ referring to the name of the dance hit ‘Show Me Love’.
