Golden girl Cheryl Cole and her success with The X Factor and her budding solo career, has helped her raise her personal fortune to a whopping £10 million, new figures reveal.
Thanks to advertising deals, The X Factor and her successful solo career, her wealth has rocketed by 150% in the past 12 months. And figures published by the Sunday Times Rich List this weekend show her fellow Girls Aloud Bandmates Nicola Roberts, Nadine Coyle, Sarah Harding and Kimberley Walsh have each earned around £5 million, making the popular girlband worth £30 million collectively.
Cheryl Cole ranks number four in the rich list of millionaires under 30. The list currently shows Charlotte Church, Leona Lewis and Katherine Jenkins are joint first, each worth £11 million.
Leona Lewis has moved mountains in the last 12 months, jumping from 6th position in 2009 to 1st in 2010 – a 38% rise in wealth. Jenkins went up by £2 million while Church remained steady.
In a separate poll of the wealthiest men in music, Simon Cowell came in at 9th position with a fortune of £165 million, up by a staggering £45 million from last year, making him the highest-paid man on TV.
