The X Factor ‘Queen Week’ Songs Revealed

Queen Week on The X FactorEach week we bring you details of who will be singing what song on the weekends live X Factor show. That time has come around again, as we bring you the full list of songs, and who will be singing them.

First of all, its important to note that this week was originally planned to be ‘Dance Week’ on The X Factor, but on Sunday evening, Simon Cowell decided to change the theme of the week, in what some are calling favouritism. Queen Week most certainly means its ‘Rock Week’, and rock songs suit Cowell’s acts much more than they do other contestants, such as Lloyd Daniels and Stacey Soloman, for example.

Nevertheless, its Queen Week, and here are the songs, and who will be singing them.

  • John and Edward – Radio Ga Ga
  • Danyl Johnson – We Are The Champions
  • Lloyd Daniels – Crazy Little Thing Called Love

Although we’re currently trying to confirm songs for the other contestants, its widely regarded they will be singing the following:

  • Stacey Soloman – No One But You (Only The Good Die Young)
  • Joe McElderry – Somebody To Love
  • Olly Murs – Unknown
  • Jamie Afro – Unknown

Its also currently unknown whether the two original members of Queen, Brian May and Roger Taylor will be making an appearance on The X Factor. We have reached out to Queen’s publicist for comments, and will bring more details when we have them.

What do you think guys? Should Jedward be allowed to murder another Queen song? Shouldn’t Freddie Mercury’s music be kept for people that actually do have singing abilities? Leave your comments below…

The twins have not murdered any queen songs up to now actually…. At least they have great stage presence and not the personality of a wet dish cloth.Simon got it totally right to let the public who paid for the phone calls to have their voice heard decide who got booted off.
Before you start bullying them again lets remember they are human beings and have feelings.
I hope they win. At least they are not cocky and arrogant.

Seriously, this show needs to stop murdering classic songs sung by music legends. They did a rock week already – keep the themes broader than one band.

As for Jedward – they are capable of murdering the Teletubbies song. Perhaps they should sing Fight for this Love and see how Cheryl likes it.
