When 16-year-old Lloyd Daniels walked onto the stage during Episode 3 of The X Factor, the judges and the audience sensed his nerves. He initially did a cover of Jason Mraz single, I’m Yours.
Mid-way through the song, Simon Cowell stopped the audition, and Cheryl Cole suggested that Simon request he do another song, because “I believe he is pretty good,” in her own words.
Cheryl Cole’s instinct proved to be correct over young Lloyd Daniels, as he did a rendition of R.Kelly’s – I Believe I Can Fly, which earned him four yeses from the judges, and a huge cheer from the 2000-strong crowd.
